After School Care
After school care is available for all children from Nursery and Reception to Year 3. It is a facility for those parents who work and in situations where younger siblings have to wait for older siblings to finish their school day. After School Care is a ‘home from home’ where children can relax at the end of a busy day. It begins by offering the children a snack (a drink and sandwiches), + followed by a short video, whilst the children enjoy a quiet time. It then offers a variety of activities including games, art and crafts, play dough and outside play.
After school care is supervised by Mrs Gillian Wright. Should you require your child to join please collect a form from the school office.

Homework (Years 4 - 6)

The school offers a supervised 'Homework Club' (4.15 - 5.00 pm), should parents wish their child to remain at school. There ae formal set homeworks in the core subjects of Maths and English, as well as a reading homework on Wednesdays. On Fridays, children are shown a variety of enriching educational DVDs throughout the year, hosted by Mr Astley our Deputy Head.

One night each week is reserved for a 'General Studies' homework. This is a time for children to work on any additional learning homework such as spelling or times tables, Latin or French vocabulary or a project in either Geography or History.
