Outings, Expeditions and Visiting Speakers
“The curriculum is enhanced at every stage by an exciting programme of visiting speakers, school visits, and expeditions to provide the pupils with an insight into the wider world in which they live”.
School life is enhanced by outings and visits, and we are fortunate to be located near Oxford and its wonderful museums. Some of the visits planned for this year include local museums and places of interest, theatres, and organic farms. Further afield, Year 5 have the opportunity to take part in an exciting activity week in Devon and there is a wonderful trip to France for a week in Year 6. The children also benefit from the many visitors to the school who bring another dimension to topics being covered in class.
